模擬国連のイベントに参加してきました
11月28日から30日にかけて、「インド模擬国連（IIMUN）」に参加しました。
この模擬国連イベントの3日間にわたり、生徒たちは多様なトピックについて議論しました。
**Friday**
The IIMUN conference began on Friday evening at the India International School in Japan.
The opening ceremony was very colorful because many students wore traditional clothing.
金曜日の夕方、IIMUNの会議がインドインターナショナルスクールで始まりました。
多くの生徒が民族衣装を着ていたので、開会式はとても華やかでした。
There were several guest speakers, including members from UN-related organizations.
There were also short performances by dancers and musicians.
国連関連団体関係者を含む数名のゲストスピーカーが登壇しました。
ダンスや音楽のパフォーマンスもありました。
Everything was done in English, so it was a good challenge for our students.
Our students felt nervous but excited.
すべて英語で進行されたので、生徒たちにとって良い挑戦になりました。
生徒たちは緊張していましたが、同時にとてもワクワクしていました。
**Saturday**
We started the day with a yoga session.
The instructor was from Shibuya, and the lesson was easy to follow.
私たちは朝、ヨガのセッションから一日を始めました。
講師は渋谷のヨガスタジオの先生で、分かりやすく楽しいレッスンでした。
At 9:30, the committee meetings began.
There were 10 different committees such as UNODC, UNESCO, and UNSC.
9時30分から委員会の議論が始まりました。
UNODCやUNESCO、UNSCなど、10種類の委員会がありました。
Our students joined the ASEAN committee and represented Singapore and South Korea.
Most of the discussion was about the South China Sea, including security and economic issues.
本校生徒はASEAN委員会に参加し、シンガポールと韓国の代表を務めました。
議論の多くは、南シナ海の安全保障や経済に関する問題でした。
After lunch, delegates continued discussions and formed alliances for their working papers.
In the evening, the students enjoyed high tea and a social dance event.
昼食後も議論は続き、各国代表は作業文書作成のための協力関係を作っていきました。
夕方にはハイティーとダンスイベントがあり、生徒たちはとても楽しんでいました。
**Sunday**
Sunday came quickly, and students were ready for the final day.
日曜日はあっという間に来て、生徒たちは最終日に備えていました。
Many committees had energetic debates on their proposals.
Session leaders, many of them university students, guided discussions very well.
多くの委員会では提案について熱い議論が行われました。
多くのセッションリーダーは大学生で、議論をとても上手にまとめていました。
In the ASEAN committee, our students were challenged by other delegates.
They responded confidently and defended their positions clearly.
ASEAN委員会では、本校生徒が他の代表から質問や指摘を受けました。
生徒たちは堂々と話し、自分たちの立場をしっかり説明しました。
In the afternoon, students signed each others’ flag cards.
午後には、参加証を受け取りして、生徒たちはお互いの国旗カードにサインをしました。
During the closing ceremony, awards were presented to outstanding delegates.
閉会式では、優秀な代表者に賞が贈られました。
It was inspiring to see so many young people passionate about global issues.
多くの若者が国際問題に熱心に取り組む姿は、本当に感動的でした。
